Adderley Head to Pidgeon Bay - sea 8km from Lyttleton, rocky sea floor, some caves. Visibility 19m.
Akaroa - sea or road 60kmj from Lyttleton. This side of peninsual is free from silt and therefore is better diving. Reasonable diving at Magnet Bay, Tokoroa Bay, Tumbledown Bay and Te Oka Bay. Good diving under lighthouse, Damon's Bay to Flea Bay and Pompei's Pillar. Visibility to 15m. Ramp.
