The best part of The Gap is undoubtedly found 15 metres and the sand. It is here that the
boulders are covered with a mass of multicoloured sponge life and asicidians.
The diver can also be expected to see a lot of fish life including pelagics. At the right time of year Port
Jackson sharks are found here in large numbers. The Gap Caves differs in so far as it also
has a large number of swimthroughs to test the more able diver.
