Crayfish Point is a marine reserve, 10
minutes drive from the centre of
Hobart. It has easy shore access from
the boat ramp at the end of Taroona
Cres, Taroona. It has a maximum depth
of 6 meters with a large variety of
marine life. Weedy Sea Dragons, an
abundance of large crayfish, octopus,
cowfish and trumpeter are regularly
seen there. This is an ideal night
dive location. It has toilets,
barbecue and play area for children.
