The V-Tek is composed of 100% polyurethane that:
  • Has superior snap characteristics compared to other materials when used in a split fin.
  • Fatigue resistant and has low hysterisis... this means as the number of flex cycles of the fin increases (upstroke & downstroke), the amount of snap force does not change...performance after ten thousand cycles is nearly like it was brand new.
  • Resistant to ultraviolet light and contains a microbe immune property which increases the useful life of the fin.
  • Permits better retention of physical properties making the fin more durable after drying and more resistant to high temperatures which prevents the fin from warping.
  • Abrasion, cut and tear resistant preventing unsightly scuff marks and avoiding deterioration of the split design of the fin.
