The new Blades II HF provides superior propulsion, manoeuvrability, comfortable fit and is equipped with an ingenious new buckle system. The propulsion and manoeuvrability result from the layering technology that combines rubber and a plastic support in the blade, the resulting spring effect, flow channelling and a foot piece with a rigid base to transfer full drive energy from the heel to the blade. The fins are totally edged in rubber for better protection against impact and to protect your buddy from the sharp edges present on many plastic edged fins. The foot pocket is soft yet supportive and is extremely comfortable, even on long dives. The base of the fin has pads for better grip on boat decks or slippery shore entries/exits.
HF Buckle System Bending over, fully laden, to find a small release buckle on your ankle can be a struggle. The new, revolutionary design of the Hands Free (HF) Buckle system allows the strap to be released at any time without using your hands – simply put your heel on the red button and push gently: the buckle opens and your foot is free to exit from the foot pocket.
Particular care has gone into providing for strap adjustment 'quick and easy' requiring less force and being more precise and secure than traditional buckles. The strap slides smoothly and evenly without catching.
The buckle is anatomically shaped. Rubber covering increases comfort, protects the heel and prevents the strap from slipping on the boot.
